Cindy Stephens got her “formal” introduction into product development during college. “My dad would have me typing business plans for new products during spring break,” she says with a laugh. “That was the first time I really understood what he was doing and I was fascinated by it.”
Fifteen years ago Cindy’s father, David Fussell, decided to leave his position as Vice President for a Fortune 200 company to pursue his invention ideas. He has successfully brought several products to market and has proven to be an extremely cleaver marketer. “After college, I joined my dad and for the last seven years I have helped him with product introductions,” says Cindy. “I guess you could say I got the ‘bug’ and have a couple of inventions of my own that I’m now working on.” . . .
